Introduction to the Constitution - Article D :
"The people are the source of power and the sovereign exercises it through the constitutional institutions.
In the midst of the discussion and the differences in opinions about the Hizballah weapons, we clearly see the disregard for the power to return to the people and the attachment to it in a subject that is fundamental and existential for this people threatened by its security and stability. For this reason, we have decided to hold this referendum to determine the people's opinion and their position on this sensitive and existential subject.
Conditions of the referendum :
1- The referendum will last two months, starting from 1/9/2025 and ending on 30/10/2025
2- Participation is once per person for each Lebanese person registered on the lists of political parties issued in February 2025
3- In case of participation, the answer cannot be changed later
